Job Spotlight:
Cuyahoga County Bus Garage, Newburgh Heights, Ohio
In the spring of 2020 local roof consultant, Construction Resources Inc. (CRI), reached out to REPS of Ohio for design assistance on the Cuyahoga County Bus Garage. The existing roof on the Harvard Road facility was not only in need of a new membrane and added R value, but it required the design to accept a new solar installation. CRI and REPS arrived at a mechanically attached reinforced EPDM system from Johns Manville over a double-layer of insulation to withstand the varying temperatures of NE Ohio. The project was publicly bid and awarded to Willham Roofing (Strongsville, Ohio) to supply and install the assembly giving it a 20 year, 90 mph wind speed warranty. A big thank you to CRI and Willham Roofing for all your contributions to this successful project!

JM Two-Part Urethane Insulation Adhesive (UIA)
This self-contained two-part, low-rise foam adhesive is used for bonding fleece-backed singly ply, insulation and cover boards. It is compatible with insulations, cover boards, and substrates: fleece-backed TPO, fleece-backed PVC, polyisocyanurate; HD wood fiber; perlite; Invinsa® Roof Board; gypsum; concrete; treated plywood; cementitious wood fiber plank; base sheets; gypsum; and some existing smooth-surfaced asphalt (per inspection).
